Dr. Jennifer Ann Mendoza Wi, a member of the Department of Health, technical group on A(H1N1) said that coughing and sneezing under one’s own shirt and not on any outside part of the shirt can prevent the droplet spread. The flu is not airborne but droplet spread. Droplet spread – transmission of an infection through the projection of oral and nasal secretions by coughing, sneezing, or talking.
