Mangaldan Boodle Fight

In: Festival

20 May 2009

At least 5, 000 people in Mangaldan Pangasinan partake pork dishes for free at the grand town plaza. Pork viands and steamed rice are laid out on banana leaves. Mangaldan municipal government in the leadership of Mayor Herminio Romero, along with vendors, tambays, and other sectors held the event to reassure residents that it’s still safe to eat pork. Income on Pork related businesses significantly decreased because of global swine flu scare which is also n=known as influenza A(H1N1).
