			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Dr. Vivencio Villaflor</strong>, co-chairman of the Multi-Agency Task Force in the fight against <strong>Influenza A (H1N1)</strong> in <strong>Dagupan, Pangasinan</strong>, that simple practices like washing of hands are important in avoiding infection by viral diseases.<br />

<strong>Dr. Leonard Carbonell</strong>, Dagupan City health officer, and <strong>Dr. Jackson Soriano</strong>, provincial health officer of Pangasinan seconded that Filipinos should wash their hands  thoroughly with soap. </p>
<p><strong>Dr. Jennifer Ann Mendoza Wi</strong>, a member of the Department of Health, technical group on A(H1N1) said that coughing and sneezing under one&#8217;s own shirt and not on any outside part of the shirt can prevent the droplet spread. The flu is not airborne but droplet spread. <strong>Droplet spread</strong> &#8211; transmission of an infection through the projection of oral and nasal secretions by coughing, sneezing, or talking.</p>
<p>The suspected case in a <a href="http://www.pangasinan.asia/dagupan-city/hospitals">hospital in Dagupan City</a> has tested negative of A(H1N1) virus.</p>

After the boodle fight the people are enlightened that the hogs and pork being sold in the said town are safe to eat.</p>
<p>Only <a href="http://www.pangasinan.asia/mangaldan">Mangaldan</a>, <a href="http://www.pangasinan.asia/urdaneta-city">Urdaneta City</a>, and <a href="http://www.pangasinan.asia/alaminos-city">Alaminos City</a> have Class AA slaughterhouses in Pangasinan.</p>
<p>Mayor Romero added that Mangaldan is very strict with the sanitation at the slaughterhouse, as well as, the health of the animals being slaughtered there.</p>
